SAN FRANCISCO, CA- The San Francisco based United Pangasinanes of America, Incorporated will hold its Biennial Inaugural Banquet & Ball Saturday, April 1 starting at 6:00 in the evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Burlingame. Executive Chairperson of the event is former First Lady Caridad O. Aquino, who along with the Executive Committee had been meeting regularly, promising the best Inaugural ever in the history of the organization. Leading the new set of Officers and Directors for 2017-19, is respected community leader and retired business executive, Mario Cendana-Panoringan from the capital town of Lingayen, who was re-elected unopposed in January of this year, and will serve his second and final term as President. Executive officers to be inducted to serve their two-year term are: Ernesto Abalos, Vice President; Lee G. Junio, Secretary; Cedy T. Shorr, Assistant Secretary; Josephine J. Dela Cruz, Treasurer; Betty P. Junio, Assistant Treasurer; Angelina F. Reguindin, Auditor; Flory V. Abalos, Assistant Auditor; Marita N. Padilla, Controller; Arsie M. Valdez, Assistant Controller; Angelo Abad, Ben J. Junio, Rodolfo J. Junio and Cesar Perez, Sergeant At Arms; Marlene Mendoza-Garibay and Gloria S. Junio, Public Relation Officers; Rudy Fernandez, Parliamentarian; Imelda Perez, Historian; Norma Camarao-Panoringan, Director of Mutual Assistance Program and Jennifer Castillo, Youth Development Representative. Immediate Past President Chris Y. Torres will remain as Adviser. Taking their oath of office as members of the Board of Directors are: Chairperson Caridad O. Aquino, Vice Chairman Bernard P. Valdez, Directors- At-Large Fred T. Almeron, Nemy Bautista, Romualdo Cerezo, Rudy Fernandez, Norie T. Gabriel, Alfredo J. Junio, Andrew Marquez and Jose Rosario. Directors of City and Town Affiliates include Neri Acosta (Calasiao), Romulo Arenas (San Carlos City), Susan Arcilla (Tayug), Alvin Padilla (Mabini), Imelda Perez (Alaminos City) and Aster Perez-Wilhelm of Bayambang, who will also serve as the Secretary of the Board. Consul General Henry Bensurto, Jr. of the Philippine Consulate in San Francisco is Special Guest Speaker and will induct the elected Officers and Directors, while the appointed Officers and Standing Committee Chairpersons will be sworn in by incumbent President Mario Cendana-Panoringan.
